Can drink "Alcohol" on the boat?
Yes. Alcoholic beverages are permitted, however drunkenness is not. If alcohol is abused on the boat, then the trip may get curtailed and the customer will still have to pay the entire charter fee. Illegal drugs are not permitted on the boat.
What equiptment do we use?
Deep sea and trawling reels on boat rods with braided line and mono filament rigs.
What is king fishing?
It is just an excuse for anglers to sit around all day drinking beer and soaking up the sun while pretending to actually fish. It is no different than the tourist you see laying on a towel under an umbrella on the beach. They are both laying around and doing nothing--only one smells better.
When is the best time to catch fish?
When they are biting. Early morning and late afternoon (an hour before sunset) are the best times. That is on a consistent basis. The middle of the afternoon, especially on a hot and humid summer day, usually is the slowest time, but you never know. Some believe the changing of the tides bring in fish, which is true, but come early for the best chance.
What about the female angler?
Fishing knows no gender, therefore all anglers to come and enjoy our trips.
Is my bait included in the possession limit?
If you have purchased your bait (or other fish) and can show proof of purchase, it is not included in the possession limit. If you catch your own bait, specific ‘baitfish' families and species are excluded. Species excluded are hardyheads (Atherinidae), pilchards and scaly mackerel (‘mulies') (Clupeidae), anchovies and whitebait (Engraulididae), garfish (Hemirhamphidae) and mullet (Mugilidae). All other fish are included within the possession limit.
What size fishing rods will fit on?
These are fishing rods that have the eyes on the bottom of the fishing rod as compared to casting rods which have the eyes on the top of the fishing rod. The exception may possibly be extremely large diameter deep-sea fishing poles or extremely small diameter child or ice fishing poles. On a smaller diameter fishing rod you would simply place the farther down the fishing pole. On a large diameter fishing rod you would place it closer to the tip. You could even put it between the 1st (tip) and 2nd eyelet, but the 2nd and 3rd works best.
