Not long ago, I met some gentleman who ran a Homeless Shelter in California, who had additional volunteers because they allowed these folks to preach to the captured audience there each night. The way it worked was simple, if you showed up by 6 PM you had a place to stay, which was warm for the night and free dinner, after you listened to the sermon that was prepared.
If the homeless person did not wish to listen that was okay, but in this case they did not get what they others who did go to the sermon got. If someone showed up with alcohol on their breath, they would not be admitted to the homeless shelter for that evening, unless they went to the sermon or had gone the day before. The gentleman explaining to me how it all worked, thought he was brilliant, to me it is appalling.
Now, I realize that force-feeding religion goes on in other countries and those who live their either submit or become outcaste or even killed, but this is America. The homeless shelter is funded in part with my tax dollars or rather local and state tax dollars for those who reside there. I am positive they are not aware of this policy.
Next, I have learned that the US allows Christianity into the lives of military personnel in Iraq and the Christian Science Monitor even acknowledges that this is indeed occurring.
Are U.S. troops being force-fed Christianity?

Americans have the right to know about this and those involved need to also remember our Constitution as well. Force-Feeding religion makes us a second or third tier country and certainly not the greatest nation in the history of mankind, which we are today. Sincerely, Lance.
